Russia & The Pig (and not MSNBC)

2 min readFeb 24, 2025

When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, the Queens Pig was not in office. The Biden administration and Congress ultimately responded to the invasion by funding the Ukrainian resistance to the occupation and bombardment of their country. With the Queens Pig now in power, we get to see his response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He has started “peace talks” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — an authoritarian state governed by a theo-fascist ruler — without the presence of a Ukrainian representative. How completely absurd. This is the first time I have heard about brokered peace talks that only include representatives from one side of the conflict. Well, the Queens Pig famously has no shame and famously has atrocious judgment — I guess we should not be surprised. This signals a very likely capitulation to all Russian war objectives.

It’s likely that what is behind this is the Queens Pig’s unique relationship to the Russian and previously the Soviet state, over the last decades. Forget about Rachel Maddow and the endless “Russia Russia Russia” poorly explained hype and nothing burgers used to sell ads on MSNBC. Forget about the public presentation of the limited and compromised Mueller Report. And go to journalists Craig Unger and Sarah Kendzior. They are rigorous journalists of the left, critics of American imperialism and that of other leviathan states, and above all, they are thorough and excellent investigators of corruption and malign influence in politics. In their books “House of Putin, House of Trump” and “Hiding In Plain Sight,” respectively, we see the journey of a vain, craven and intellectually dull New York businessman compromised by Russian intelligence. We see a sloppy and untalented entrepreneur blowing through his father’s fortune and finding himself in desperate straits, which actors with ties to the Russian state and/or the Russian Mob are all too willing to exploit. And with every favor comes a price. It seems more than likely that Vladimir Putin is currently cashing in that chip and the security of Europe may be what is sacrificed, ultimately, in order to pay for the Queens Pig’s idiotic business bumblings in the real estate game.
